Tenant's side

“A well-informed tenant is a peaceful tenant. Taking the time to understand your commitments before signing a lease is the first guarantee of a successful rental.”

Our essential advice for tenants:

  1. Check the property criteria: size, amenities, energy performance (EPC), location, transport, services, etc.
  2. Analyze your overall budget: rent, recoverable charges (water, maintenance of common areas, etc.), security deposit, home insurance, household waste collection tax (TEOM).
  3. Review the documents: lease and diagnostic reports [(EPC, lead (if old), electricity/gas, ERP (risks)).
  4. Prepare Your file: identity documents, proof of income, employment contract, tax assessment notice, guarantor if necessary.
  5. Signing the lease
    • Read the lease carefully: duration, rent review, charges, specific clauses.
    • Payment of the security deposit
    • Payment of agency fees
  6. Move-in
    • A detailed, jointly conducted move-in inspection will be carried out and signed by both parties.
    • Take out home insurance before receiving the keys.
